Ajax football club only managed a 0-0 draw at home in the Amsterdam ArenA against Olympique Lyon on Wednesday evening. It was Ajax’ first game in this season’s Champions League.

Ajax missed some good chances and had no real reason to complain about the result. The French squad also missed some openings, failing to get the better of Ajax goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer.

The Amsterdam club's next Champions League match is away against Real Madrid in two weeks time.
