200 kilos of cocaine found in fish catch

Fishermen appear to have caught 200 kilos of cocaine in their nets on Monday morning in the fishing village of Volendam. The drug haul was discovered at a fish processing plant say police.

Staff at the plant called the police when they discovered the hard drugs. Forensic tests revealed it was cocaine. The drugs were confiscated and destroyed by police.

Police are investigating where the drugs came from and have not yet made any arrests.
