Your own Little Revolution in 2011?

Published on : 6 December 2011 - 2:09pm | By RNW News Desk (Graphic: RNW)
More about:

2011 was the year of revolutions. From the Arab Spring which led to the toppling of undemocratic regimes to the rise of new markets and global protest against the greed of financial institutions.

But there have also been small revolutions. From the end of December we will feature some examples in our seasonal series, 'My Little Revolution'.

Have you brought about change in your personal life, your neighbourhood or the place where you live?
Let us know. We’ll award an iPod Nano for the best little revolution. Send us your stories and photos by 19 December to: or post them on our Facebook page (note: photos are not possible on Facebook!).

Please, no more than three entries per person! And don't forget: if you send us stories or photos, they may be posted on our website.

How can I send my little revolution?
There are three ways to send us your revolutions:

  1. Go to the Radio Netherlands Worldwide Facebook page to post your story on our wall. You will have to have a Facebook account and be a fan of the RNW page.
  2. You can also send in photos via Flickr: upload the photo to the Radio Netherlands Worldwide Flickr group. You will need a personal Flickr account.
  3. Of course, you can also e-mail your stories and photos to
