      World’s shortest man dies

      The shortest man in the world has died. The 21-year-old Chinese man He Pingping was just under 75 centimetres tall.

      He was in Italy for a television programme, when he was rushed to hospital complaining of pains in the chest. He died on Saturday.

      Guinness World Records recognised him as the world’s shortest man in 2008. He Pingping suffered from a rare form of dwarfism.
