US Vice President Joe Biden has arrived in Baghdad for talks with Iraqi leaders and US service personnel.
A White House statement said Vice President Biden will hold talks with President Jalal Talabani, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and other senior leaders.
The main topic on the agenda is the US withdrawal from Iraq, scheduled for August 2010. Mr Biden will also hold talks with various ethnic groups in an attempt to resolve long-running conflicts over land and oil. This is the vice president's third visit to Iraq so far this year.
