An investigation in the US by the Consumers Union, a non-profit advocacy group, has revealed that two out of three parents are not planning to inoculate their children against A (H1N1), also known as Mexican flu.
Many parents say they do not believe the vaccine has been sufficiently tested. US health authorities say they are deeply concerned by the results and point out that children are at serious risk of contracting A (H1N1).
The government immunisation programme is scheduled to start next week, Washington has purchased 685 million euros worth of vaccines.
