The United States has extradited a former Bosnian-Serb police officer to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Nadjo Ikonic is suspected of involvement in the massacre at Srebrenica in 1995 and Bosnia had issued an international warrant for his arrest. Mr Ikonic led a special Bosnian-Serb police unit during the Bosnian war which lasted from 1992 to 1995.
The unit was partly responsible for guarding the roads to and from Srebrenica in 1995. The town was a designated United Nations safe haven, protected by Dutch troops.
Serbian troops still took the town in July 1995, going on to kill about 8000 Muslim men and expel over 30,000 women, children and elderly people.
