The United States and North Korea are agreed on the importance of restarting negotiations about nuclear disarmament. This is the outcome of a three-day visit to Pyongyang by the US envoy for North Korea, Stephen Bosworth.
Mr Bosworth has been looking into North Korea's current position regarding the Six Nation nuclear disarmament talks. North Korea discontinued the talks in April due to sanctions imposed by the U.S after North Korea had carried out new nuclear tests and tests with long-range ballistic missiles.
According to Mr Bosworth, both sides see the importance of observing the agreements made earlier. When and in what way new Six Nation talks will take place has yet to be decided.
