Dutch union FNV is staging rallies across the country to protest against a government decision to raise the retirement age from 65 to 67.
Demonstrations are being held in Rotterdam, Assen, Deventer and Eindhoven. The organisers are providing free coaches and expect tens of thousands to turn out. The largest rally is in Rotterdam, where FNV leader Agnes Jongerius will speak alongside leaders of other unions.
