Two Dutch soldiers in Uruzgan in Afghanistan have been slightly injured while on foot patrol. The ANP press agency says they were caught in the blast from an improvised bomb in Deh Rashan, north of the provincial capital Tarin Kowt.

The soldiers are in hospital at the Dutch base, Camp Holland. Their condition is not serious: the defence ministry says they were able to radio for help themselves after the incident.
