The Brazilian air force has found the bodies of two men and debris from the Air France Airbus A330 which crashed in the Atlantic on Monday. Among the debris were personal items such as a backpack with a computer and a leather attaché-case. The remains were found some 370 kilometres off the Brazilian coast.
The Air France plane went down while flying from Brazil to France. It disappeared from the radar screens during a storm. All 228 people on board are believed dead.
Shortly before it crashed into the sea the plane sent warnings of a technical malfunction. Experts are attempting to determine the cause of the crash.
