In Peru, 2000 tourists are stranded following torrential rain in the Andes mountains.
A landslide has blocked rail lines near the ancient Inca city Machu Picchu.
The tourists will be evacuated by helicopter and taken by bus to the nearest large city, 100 kilometres away.
The Minister of Tourism Martin Perez says there is enough food and drink for four days. A state of emergency has been declared in the region.
The heavy rainfall has caused landslides and serious flooding in recent days.
