Tiger Woods makes official comeback

Published on 8 April 2010 - 10:20pm
More about:

US golf superstar Tiger Woods has made his official comeback to tournament golf after an absence of several months following revelations about his private life.

Woods is competing in the Masters in Augusta Georgia, the first major competition on the international golf calendar. In December 2009, Woods withdrew from competitive golf after a series of exposés about his extramarital affairs and sex addiction. He said he wanted to concentrate on saving his marriage and getting treatment for his addiction.

Despite not playing competitively for several months, the world number one is the bookmakers favourite to win the Masters, perhaps the most prestigious golf tournament. Woods is a four-time winner of the Masters' famous green jacket.

I think Tiger Woods is one of the best golfers the world has ever known. I don't know why everyone is talking about him as if he has done something wrong. Ok, so he slept around a bit but that shouldn't effect his stature on the golf course. Many of the celeb blogs listed on the blog index at www.dozenblogs.com were saying that Woods' career is over. But I think he will come back and be a champion once more. I think he will even beat Jack Nicklaus' all-time win record.

We should forgive him, he´s still the Michael Jordan in Golf
See him soon at the Fairways Guide.
