Three British men were killed in a motorway car crash after allegedly raiding a cash dispenser in the eastern Dutch village of Driel. Two other men in the car were seriously injured.
After the raid on the cash dispenser, the suspects managed to escape the police after a brief car chase. However, half an hour later their car crashed on the motorway and rolled over. Police found several thousand euros in the car.
One of the men, a 25-year-old from London, died at the scene of the accident on Saturday morning. The four others in the car, two of whom died in hospital on Sunday, were also in their twenties and came from Liverpool.
