More about:

At the Rosmalen international tennis tournament in the south of the Netherlands, Dutch player Thiemo de Bakker has failed to reach the quarter final. He lost in two sets – 6-3 and 7-6 – to the German Rainer Schüttler.

Raemon Sluiter is now the only Dutch player left in the men’s single competition.

In the women’s competition, the Netherlands’ Michaëlla Krajicek is still in the running in the doubles. With her Belgian partner Yaninna Wickmayer, she has made it through to semi-finals. Krajicek was eliminated from the women’s singles on Tuesday.
