Taking back jihad

Published on : 22 March 2010 - 2:02pm | By Keerthana Nagarajan (Photo: RNW)
More about:

Noman Benotman spent five years as a jihadist fighter until he realised that the concept of jihad had been perverted.

He told Osama Bin Laden and his followers as much. Now he’s waging a war of ideas and believes that the days of the extremists are numbered.

Noman and other Muslim thinkers have created a 400-page text that attempts to undermine the extremist
interpretation of jihad. He hopes it may help change the course of history.

George, You must see this Geert Wilders’ Warning to the West movie clip, it is the second fitna film. Wow! I think it explains a lot more details and will be much better then the first film, and longer. I will be seeing this as soon as it comes out. http://www.volkskrant.nl/binnenland/article1361940.ece/Amerikaanse_film_...

Too late. Islam has outstayed it's welcome. Geert Wilders has the answer.

But this article and other articles in South Asia dossier, appearing on the site have been broadcast before by TSWI and Dheera Sujan. Why this repeat broadcast?

This guy has a lot of courage and I admire him for his effort to counter terrorism and extremist views.
