Sudan and Chad have agreed to normalise relations and end supporting each other's rebel groups. The news came as Chad's President Idriss Deby visited his Sudanese counterpart Omar Hassan al-Bashir in Khartoum.
Relations between Chad and Sudan have been extremely poor for five years. Both countries accuse each other of supporting rebels fighting their respective governments.
