An underground train strike in the Romanian capital Bucharest has led to long traffic jams after pay talks broke down on Monday evening.
Hundreds of thousands of people in the capital were forced to travel by car after the unions called indefinite strikes.
As a result of the strike action, no trains are running between four in the morning and four in the evening.
The Romanian government is trying to get an injunction against the strikes. The court is expected to announce its decision on Wednesday.
Around 650,000 people in Bucharest use the underground every day.
