Storms and torrential rain in Italy has triggered dozens of landslides.
In the southern coastal town of Amalfi, near Naples, a man was killed when his restaurant was buried by rocks and mud.
Hundreds of tourists have been stranded on the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea for days as all ferry services have been cancelled.
In Tuscany there were 130 landslides. In Lucca 50 families had to be evacuated. Huge waves along the Ligurian coast have flooded roads.
