The Spanish Health Minister Trinidad Jimenez has announced that 400 Spanish children aged between 6 months and 17 years are going to participate in voluntary clinical tests for a vaccine against Mexican flu.
The vaccine has been developed by GlaxoSmithKline. Only healthy children with parental permission will take part in the trial. The results will be used to find out which dose is best suited to different age groups.
The Dutch government has ordered the same vaccine from GlaxoSmithKline.
