The works of William Shakespeare are more extensive than first thought.
British academics have now established that 'the Bard' co-wrote the play Double Falsehood. The famous English playwright is believed to have written the play at the beginning of the 17th century with John Fletcher, with whom he wrote many other plays.
Double Falsehood was presented in the 19th century as an original work by Shakespeare, but was quickly dismissed as a fake. The piece is loosely based on Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. The play has now been published in London for the first time as part of a new collection of the complete works of Shakespeare, compiled by academics.
