At least five people were killed by heavy rainfall in Morocco and many areas are flooded.

Three members of the same family died when their vehicle was swept away by flood waters near the city of Agadir in southwestern Morocco. In Chichaoua, a Spanish woman died in a similar incident. Her husband and child survived the accident. In the northeastern town of Taza, a woman drowned in a flooded valley.
 

In Casablanca and Marrakesh, the heavy rain has damaged buildings and at least 10 people were injured when their homes collapsed under the weight of the water.
