Serbia counters Croatia's ICC genocide suit

Published on 31 December 2009 - 7:42pm
More about:

Serbia is bringing a case of genocide against Croatia before the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Serbian President Boris Tadic says the charges are ready to be brought.

Croatia is accused of genocide during the 1991-1995 war and of the expulsion of over 200,000 Serbs. The Serbian lawsuit follows one filed earlier by Croatia in which Serbia is accused of the killing of 20,000 Croatians.
