A 24-year old man from the Dutch town of Winsum has been arrested for secretly photographing and filming women's bottoms.
Most of the material was shot in Groningen and Assen and involved women wearing jeans or trousers, but there were also some up-skirt shots.
The man's activities were exposed when the popular Dutch satirical website GeenStijl drew attention to the material on his website. He was arrested the same day.
Taking secret photographs or footage of women's buttocks is legally equivalent to indecent assault. Police in Groningen are asking victims who recognise themselves to come forward and make a statement.
