A second suspect is under investigation in the case of the kidnapped Austrian girl, Natascha Kampusch.
The suspect is a good friend of Wolfgang Priklopil, the man who abducted Ms Kampusch and held her prisoner for eight years in a house near Vienna. Germany has been asked to seize evidence from two witnesses. The Austrian authorities will then consider whether to prosecute the second suspect.
Natascha Kampusch escaped from her captor in 2006, aged 18. He committed suicide on the same day.
