Too much trouble and too little sensation is how many men feel about condoms. It was also how Dutch engineer Adrian Tunovic felt, but he decided to do something about it and came up with the “ideal” condom. The Wingman.

As the name suggests, the condom has little wings and the makers claim it only take two seconds – and one hand – to put on. It’s a simple matter of holding the wings and unrolling. Because there’s no need to touch the actual condom there’s much less chance of tearing it – and that means it can be thinner than conventional condoms, so there’s less loss of sensation.

Tunovic and his partner Paul Breurs came up with the design in 2006 and then spent years experimenting with prototypes. But now The Wingman’s finally ready to roll.
