The private life of South African President Jacob Zuma has once again become the focus of media attention following reports that he has fathered an illegitimate child.
The mother of the child, the president's 20th, is the daughter of a friend of his. Mr Zuma practices polygamy and has three wives.
The South African opposition says the president's sexual behaviour undermines the campaign against HIV/AIDS. At least 5.7 million people in South Africa have been diagnosed with HIV, and about 1,000 people a day die of AIDS.
