A Dutch military base in Afghanistan has been attacked for the first time in four months. A spokesperson for the defence ministry says that, at the weekend, two rockets landed just outside Camp Holland, which houses some 1,370 soldiers.
Dozens of rockets rained on the camp earlier this year. One of them killed soldier Azdin Chadlin in April. Since then, no rockets had been fired at the base. For security reasons, the defence ministry would not specify where the latest rockets were launched from. It is not yet clear if the attack spells the beginning of a fresh offensive.
