The United Nations has given a record amount 1.44 billion dollars in aid to Haiti.
The money is to help around three million Haitians hit by the massive earthquake on 12 January. UN special envoy for Haiti, former US president Bill Clinton, says tents, food and clean water are still needed urgently. He called on UN member states to donate more.
More than 200,000 people were killed in the earthquake and more than a million lost their homes.
The last record amount given by the UN in aid was 1.41 billion dollars for the victims of the tsunami in the Indian ocean in December 2004.
