Queen Beatrix wraps up state visit to Mexico

Published on 7 November 2009 - 9:48am
More about:

Queen Beatrix, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima have ended their four-day state visit to Mexico.

On their last day there, they visited the pyramids at the pre-Columbian temple complex of Teotihuacan. After that Queen Beatrix received a number of Dutch nationals who live in Mexico. Earlier this week the two countries signed several agreements on energy and sustainability cooperation. One of the deals involves the exchange of technology and knowledge about the exploration of oil and gas fields.
