Here’s something for Sudoku lovers. If you thought you’d crossed all the levels of the game, then think again. This is the largest Sudoku puzzle ever made. We’re talking about 100 rows, 100 columns and 100 grids.
Its creator is an Indian doctor called Chintan Pandya from the state of Gujarat. Pandya says he initially developed an interest in the nine grid format of the puzzle and would solve them each morning in the newspaper. But soon he gave up on the game as he found the harder levels too tough.
So what inspired Pandya to create the world’s largest Sudoku game?
“My mother-in-law” he says.
“She is a die-hard fan of Sudoku, I started finding it interesting again when I saw her playing. She asked me to do something different in this field which no one in this world has done.”
And those words got Pandya working really hard to create the world’s largest Sudoku puzzle. And he’s now all set to enter the Guinness Book of World Records with his creation.
“My first reaction was to tell him this was impossible. But later, when he was in the final stage of creating the game, I realised that he had actually made it,” his wife Bhumika says with a smile.
Now Dr Chintan Pandya says he dreams of making a 200x200 or even a 1000x1000 Sudoku. We wish him the best of luck!

Sudokus are really great, both for fun and learning. It's a puzzle game that can keep you occupied for hours and is great for long haul flights. This seems a bit over the top though...
Too bad you are 8 months too late. A 100x100 was published in March of 2010. http://www.amazon.com/Sudoku-zilla-100x100-William-Ike-Eisenhauer/dp/145...
