Pope Benedict XVI has arrived in the Czech Republic for a three-day visit.
He will officiate two open-air masses in Brno and Stara Bolesla. Just one third of the Czechs declare themselves Catholics. The rest consider themselves agnostic or atheist. The visit also includes a meeting with President Vaclav Klaus.
