Swine flu has claimed its first victim in Poland.
The victim is a 37-year-old man who died of respiratory complications, but doctors also found him to have the H1N1 virus. Poland has so far recorded 237 cases of influenza A. The government has decided to postpone buying vaccines against the virus, arguing that they have not yet been sufficiently tested.
