      Plane loses piece of wing over Miami

      In the United States, a fibreglass panel broke off the wing of a Boeing airplane shortly before it landed at Miami airport on Friday.

      The panel, which is the size of a car, fell on a shopping mall car park, startling shoppers in the area. However, no-one was injured and no property was damaged because the panel landed on two empty parking spaces. The plane itself managed to land without further problems.

      The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the incident.
