A passenger plane carrying 13 people has gone missing over Papua New Guinea. Eight passengers are thought to be Australian.
The plane, operated by Papua's PNG Airlines, was travelling from the capital Port Moresby to the village of Kokoda, a tourist destination popular with Australians. A search for the plane is being hampered by bad weather. Flying over Papua New Guinea is dangerous because of the rugged terrain, the high mountains and rapidly changing weather conditions.
