Rescue workers in the north of the Philippines have pulled six survivors from mudslides triggered by typhoons Ketsana and Parma, which in the past two weeks have killed over 500 people.
A large number of corpses were also found, raising this week's death toll to nearly 200. Earlier this week parts of the Philippines were again battered by heavy rainfall and extensive flooding.
