North Korea has launched seven missiles from the east coast this morning. Neighbouring South Korea says scud missiles were launched just like earlier this week.

Scud missiles have a range of 500 kilometres. The launch of such missiles is banned by the United Nations. It is thought that North Korea wants to provoke the United States as Americans are celebrating Independence Day today.
