Disappeared US teenager Natalee Holloway was taken to an Aruba beach by Joran van der Sloot and sold there to a Venezuelan man who 'wanted a blonde girl', Mr Van der Sloot told Fox News TV.
In an interview with the US news channel, he claimed he repeatedly met the man in a casino. The Venezuelan offered him 10,000 US dollars.
Joran van der Sloot told how he watched Natalee, who was drunk, being hauled on board a vessel chartered by the Venezuelan. There was no struggle or anything, he said.
Natalee vanished on the Caribbean island of Aruba - part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands - on 30 May 2005. Joran van der Sloot has been arrested twice in connection with her disappearance, but without conclusive evidence he has never been brought to trial.
He now lives in Thailand, where he has come under suspicion of being involved in sex trafficking.
Joran van der Sloot said in the interview that he was helped by the two brothers Deepak and Sateesh who were briefly detained by Aruba police when Ms Holloway had gone missing.
Retraction
The interview was cut short when Joran van der Sloot was asked about his father's involvement in the affair. According to earlier statements by Joran, his father, working for the Aruban Justice ministry at the time, bribed two policemen to remain silent about what they knew about the affair.
Joran's father and police on Aruba are refusing to comment.
Some time after the recorded interview was broadcast, Joran van der Sloot contacted Fox News and told them he had lied to the interviewer, Greta van Susteren.

Does anyone believe that this a*hole killed the Peruvian girl on the anniversary of Natali Holoway by accident?
He's cunning, calculated and arrogant. He's been jumping all around the world getting $$ from selling human beings to other calculating criminals. Does anyone believe that his dad died an "accidental" death "playing tennis" one day? What is wrong in the Netherlands? The Aruban police are corrupt. Obviously, Holland is corrupt.
Van der Sh*t is calculatingly going to countries where they don't extridite. Now that he's been caught, will the weird-headed (He does have a very weird shaped, large head.) be extridited to Peru? Will Peru hang the man or give him live in prison? Doubtful. He knows exactly what he's doing. A woman's live in Hispanic countries and obviously in the Netherlands are not worth much (I'm Hispanic. I know.). Even in the U.S., it would be the woman put on trial, even if she's not alive or missing. What's wrong with these pictures? I believe that Van der whatever sold Natalie and tried to sell the Peruvian girl after he did what he wanted with her and things didn't work out the way he wanted. He was sex trafficking in Peru. He finally messed up and left evidence, but had a back-up plan to leave to Argentina, where they don't extradite. I also agree with Natalie's father that Jordan used the rape drug to help him in his murderous deeds. I think Natalie was too smart to leave with that weird head volunartily. And since the Peruvian girl knew who he was, she wouldn't have left the casino with him volunarily either. Do the police and security there take stupid pills? Maybe Vander but gives those out too. I'd like to see him given (not sold) as a sex slave until the day he dies a long, slow, miserable death. At this point, I don't value his life.

Joran's bank account should have been seized to see if any large sums of money had entered his account, and the beer tender should have been grilled about any mickies put in her drinks. That would have been an indication that she could possibly have been trafficked out to a pimp, since blondes are in high demand in that business and that part of the world.
Please STOP giving Juran attention. His stories must hurt Natalie's family tremendously. I know they will never forget Natalie but they must try to live their lives now, however they can. His crazy need for attention is fueled knowing that whenever he calls a station they listen because they think they are going to get "the truth." You are all pawns in his great game of insanity. Leave him be and let Natalie and her family rest.
