Two mountaineers have been killed in an avalanche in northern Spain. A third person is thought to be injured.
The three mountaineers were climbing in the Vall de Boí in the Catalan province of Lérida when the avalanche hit.
Five fireman on an exercise in the vicinity were lucky to escape with their lives. One fireman was slightly injured.
