Most protesting squatters released

Most of the 100 squatters who were arrested on Thursday evening outside parliament in The Hague have since been released.

 

Eleven who refuse to reveal their identity are still in custody. The squatters were protesting against new anti-squatting legislation passed by parliament on Thursday evening and set up camp outside the parliament building. Those who refused to leave when summoned to do so by police were arrested.
