Moroccans agree with Wilders about violent Moroccan-Dutch youths

Published on : 11 December 2012 - 9:54am | By (Photo: ANP/AFP)
More about:

Many Moroccans agree with Geert Wilders, the leader of the populist Freedom Party, who recently stated that the violence being committed by Moroccan-Dutch youths in the Netherlands is a “Moroccan problem”. The assertion is based on reactions from people who read an RNW article about a linesman who died after being beaten up by a group of Moroccan-Dutch teenagers.

The article was reprinted by Hespress, a popular Moroccan website, and sparked dozens of reactions from Moroccans living in Morocco and abroad. 50 of the 60 people who reacted agreed with Geert Wilders’ remarks.

"Wilders is racist but he’s right”
“The truth has to be told”, wrote ‘a commentator from the Netherlands’. “Moroccan youths here in the Netherlands are causing numerous problems. They carry out hold-ups, rob old people and attack bus drivers and gays. These incidents are occurring on a daily basis. In my opinion, the Dutch have a lot of patience with these criminals.”

Even though the majority of the Moroccans who reacted consider Geert Wilders a racist and believe he doesn’t offer solutions for the problems, they agree with his position. “What Wilders says is true”, writes a reader who says he witnessed the behaviour of young people of Moroccan origin during the three years he lived in the Netherlands.

Others blame the violent or criminal behaviour on ‘differences of mentality’ or ‘the deceitful Moroccan culture’.

Stop playing the victim
Various people believe that the Moroccan community in the Netherlands has to stop playing the victim. ‘Laila from Amsterdam’ urges people ‘to stop looking for excuses’ for the behaviour of Moroccan young people.

According to another reader, “I have been living in the Netherlands for the past 22 years, and I have never had any problems with Dutch people. From what I have seen, whenever there are problems of vandalism or theft in public transport, Moroccans are involved. Anyone who wants to succeed in the Netherlands can. The opportunities are there. You just have to want to seize them.”

Dutch people have to be aware about that the moroccans/moroccans who grown up in morocco or came here later or living in Morocco, have nothing to do with the other Dutch/moroccans who came to Netherlands as kiss or been born here in Netherlands those Dutch/moroccans who are born in Netherlands or came as kids most of them are extremely arrogant, bossy, without respect of rules or persons, agressive ect...we moroccans in morocco have even many problems with them, they make lot of troubles, accidents even in morocco....they are already not welcome in morocco and in Netherlands as well...
I even do not blame them but I blame theire parents who had no time to educate them, to make them better persons, to earn more about being humilde, those parents are materialstic working together all day to get money money leaving theire children in school with keys and going to street to learn the street culture and bad behaviour...

By the way the youngs who attacked that arbitre after the football match ended were Dutch/Dutch !!!!!
The main stream media is trying to give all this more and more attention spreiding false fake events and propaganda's to perpetuate inestability anxiety and division into the Dutch society leaded by the EVIL Wilders.

Sorry all of you, can you just stop mixend the papers here !!! There are many points to make clear here wake up :
1-the moroccan behaviour/attitude of moroccans in Morocco has nothing to do with the behaviour of the Dutch/moroccans in Netherlands.
2-in Morocco we do not experience any kind of these bad behaviour so mister Wilders you can stop generalising and sending your own problems to Morocco !!!!
3-the problem is in the Netherlands and the biggest factor are the parents who have no time to educate theire children but just sending all days of week outside the home to gain more money money without to educate theire children or give them love.
4-those children are growing in the street as well and learning the behaviour of the street.
5-the generalisation of the Dutch society makes it worse when they start rejecting everyone who is moroccan without ven knowing this makes a more violent attitude/reaction from Dutch/moroccans, then they start really being agressive deffending themselves...

Just deport them all to their own country. Those foreigners in Holland are just there to take advantage of the welfare system.

Geert Wilders comments have nothing to do with racism. He speaks against Islam, a male dominated culture, not a religion of peace as the name implies. Those critical of him should have a serious read of the Koran. Islam can not exist in a democratic society, it has serious problems with human rights and, more importantly, welfare of women.

What's with Dutch men?

When one discovers weeds in the garden one does not water them, preen them, cut back healthy plants to give them more light, allow them to choke your young seedlings and tell ones friends that with a little more kindness and effort they will become flowers and bring great joy. No - one gets to work and rips out the weeds and disposes of them, promptly and without sentiment.

The difference between weed and plant is obvious to those who love their garden.

While no one is blaming a group as a whole for criminal behavior, it is a FACT, that before the Netherlands were besieged with immigrants , It was for decades following WW2, one of the most peaceful, safe ,and happy countries in the world. Many persons did not even lock their front doors. It WAS a Utopia of sorts. I was fortunate enough to experience those wonderful times there as a tourist. The kindness of the indigenous Dutch people still reflects this now vanished, safe and peaceful time.

When they say, "many agree with Wilders", they aren't mentioning the many who don't agree... There is a famous Dutch person from Moroccan origins who stated something which I totally agree with, which is that Wilders grabs every opportunity to complain about foreigners (forgetting that he is from foreign origins himself), even if it is at the expense of the victim who died. If he thinks that Dutch people from foreign origins are a problem let him debate it at any normal debate, instead of seeing incidents like these as opportunities to get people to listen to him. It screams desperate, and it's just plain distasteful! Like the famous person I am talking about, there are so many Dutch people from foreign origins who totally condemn this act, that you cannot say it is a problem "they" (as an entity) have... When did we go back to WWII??? Why are the media frightening us from muslims and Arabs all of a sudden? As if Billions of people can be judged by the acts of a few. Or as if there are no non-muslim criminals or terrorists... Being a criminal is a choice, not a hereditary gen. I wish people would stop judging each other based on superficial stuff, like what they look like, or where their parents come from, but I guess that's just a Utopia.

If Mr. Wilders is being proved correct , more and more each day, in his opinions of the Dutch and World situation , then how can he be called Racist? Unless a "racist", is , in his case, one who speaks the truth.

As in any other country where crimes are committed...if the perpetrator is not a citizen of the country in which the crime is being committed, extradite him/her immediately.

When you extradite someone, the person is returned to the country where a crime was committed, which in this case is the Netherlands. The word you're looking for is deport (or expel).
In this case many of the perpetrators are Dutch citizens of Moroccan origin.
