The International Air Transport Association expects that losses suffered by the international aviation sector this year will be less severe than originally predicted.
The organisation estimates collective losses of just over 2 billion euros. Losses in December were twice as high. The sector's changing fortune is due to growth in the number of airline passengers, particularly in Asia and Latin America.
