Host Marnie Chesterton hears about two communities that were affected by wind turbines. One is a rural town in upstate New York which was split apart by the offer by developers to install forty 400-foot turbines. Filmmaker Laura Israel documented the escalating trouble as neighbour turned against neighbour in her film Windfall. And Pieter Beije is a Dutch farmer who bought wind turbines to support his income after his vegetable harvest couldn't support him and his family.
