The Dutch municipal health service (GGD) says it is extremely satisfied with the number of children who showed up to be inoculated on the first day of mass vaccinations against Mexican flu. Reports from 18 municipal health centres show that at least 60 percent of those offered a flu shot turned up.
The current vaccination campaign against the A(H1N1) virus is for children from six months to four years of age and for families with children younger than six months.
