KLM convinced flying is safe

Published on 19 April 2010 - 3:20pm
More about:

KLM is continuing its series of test flights, despite the shutdown of Dutch airspace.

On Monday morning a Boeing 737 with normal crew but without passengers flew from Amsterdam to Paris Charles de Gaulle. The airline wants to demonstrate that flying is not necessarily dangerous at present.

On Sunday, two KLM test planes carrying cargo flew to the Far East without problems. Inspection of the aircraft after they had landed showed no damage or other problems.

the airline should at least try not to inconvenience its passengers with the issue of leaving behind their luggage making the passenger to wait for another day for the arrival of the luggage.
