Kidnapped journalist released in Somalia

Reporters Without Borders has announced that a journalist abducted by an unknown group in Somalia one week ago has been released.

Ibrahim Mohamed Ali, the director of a private TV station based in London, was kidnapped near the town of Afgoye, the destination for around 400,000 refugees who have fled the capital Mogadishu.

Somalia is the most dangerous African country for journalists. Since 2007, 14 reporters have been killed there.
