After two years' preparation, Joshua van Eijndhoven is leaving on a sailing trip lasting around three years. He'd wanted to go last year, but realised that such a trip needed rather more preparation than he had thought. Now Joshua is completely ready.
This video was made last year, shortly before he had planned to leave. Joshua explained then that it was his dream to see the world with his own eyes. Not only that, he also wants to leave something positive behind in the places he visits, and for the people who travel with him. So he's going to give lessons in the countries he's in: "I want to create a positive wave going around the world; meeting, experiencing and giving something back."
Contact
During his trip, Joshua plans to give lessons in schools about topics such as the Netherlands, Europe and endurance. He has thought up a special daily programme for children. In this way, he hopes to come into contact with the local people and to experience something of the daily life in those countries.
