Non stop Dutch classical music
RNW is programming RNW Classical 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The emphasis in this English-language programme is on Dutch classical music, performed by orchestras, ensembles and soloists based in the Netherlands. The major international repertoire will, of course, be represented too.

I have only recently discovered this truely excellent service and am tuned into it for much of the day - My computer seems to be able to receive it at the same time as letting me work - modern science!.
In the UK we had a good serious music programme but it has become so low brow and banal it is seldom worth listening to now. I particularly enjoy not only the variety of works braodcast - many I have never heard before. But above all, I relish the lack of chat and idiotic comment which the UK programme seems to think we listeners all enjoy! My one sadness is that every now and then a work (often a Mozart PC) seems to be cut off in mid stream - and that is a pity!
Many thanks fro such a pleasureable programme.
Nick Zelle
