An autograph by John F. Kennedy has gone under the hammer at auction for 39,000 dollars in the United States.
The autograph on the front page of a newspaper is probably the last Kennedy ever signed, just two hours before he was shot on 22 November 1963.
The buyer is a Californian businessman. He has promptly insured the autograph for a quarter of a million dollars.
