The Israeli police have arrested nuclear physicist Mordechai Vanunu for having contact with a Norwegian woman.
Mr Vanunu was forbidden from talking to foreigners following his release from prison in 2004. He had been jailed for 18 years after passing on secret information on the Israeli nuclear power station Dimona to a British newspaper.
In 1986, he was found guilty of treason and imprisoned, but was released under strict conditions 18 years later. These include a ban on contact with foreigners and foreign media, and a ban on travelling outside Israel.
According to Mr Vanunu's lawyer, his client is romantically involved with the Norwegian woman and the couple do not discuss anything to do with nuclear affairs.

How can Mr. Vanunu's lawyer absolutely guarantee that no nuclear discussions take place between Mr. Vanunu and the Norwegian woman in question, especially in intimate circumstances? The government of Israel is not anywhere near stupid, so why be surprised that Mr. Vanunu is again in custody?
Let us see Wilders put a spin on this ! The unquestionable support for Israel, in light of logic and fairness truly the zenith of hypocrisy! I bet the death and suffering of Gazan mothers and children provide some sort of sick pleasure !
He should have been executed for high treason long time ago!
